Where do I even begin with these two? They have been such a joy to work with from day one. Their love for each other is so contagious snd their hearts are so pure. I was warned Indy (the groom) would cry a lot on the wedding day, little did I know he would cry the entire day! It was absolutely the most precious thing I have ever seen. There is nothing more amazing than getting to spend a wedding day with a couple so madly in love. Zoe and Jonathan reached out to me about photographing their intimate backyard wedding months before their wedding date. I was absolutely honored because I had taken classes in high school from Zoe’s father. His classes were actually the ones that got me interested in photography in the first place. I am forever thankful for taking his classes as well as being able to capture such a special day for Zoe and Jonathan. Their love for each other and nature is so pure and it was beautifully portrayed throughout their day.

It’s not everyday you get to be one of the first couples married at such an awesome venue! From the moment I heard about AutoCamp, I was so thrilled that was where Todd and Annalee were getting married. Their intimate wedding is what dreams are made of. If you are a photographer and you are going to shoot at a new location, here are some tips to making sure you are prepared.

1. Scout the location beforehand. If you are able to get there the day before or the week before to check things out, do it. It will make you feel more comfortable knowing that you’ve checked out the location.

2. If you can’t get there the day pr week before the shoot, arrive early and walk around. Find spots you like and that inspire you.

3. Embrace it and have fun.
